Many a story will tell you confidence in a woman is attractive. Walk taller, speak eloquently, dress stylishly, use jewellery and accessories to make a statement. Is vulnerability, humility and a small measure of self doubt so damning? What do we do when the bravado is absent, a looser jersey top, with a boy-cut pair of jeans feels comfortable and the statement 'red lip' now looks a little too garish? I don't want to disappear completely. Sometimes I just need a bit of camouflage without checking out completely....

Who am I ? Perhaps its all about perception. I have heard so many times "Be the person you want to be, act it out if that's what it takes. Soon enough it you will become it". With mixed results and through many re-inventions of myself I have put this statement to the test. A conclusion is pending......

One huge influence on me was not the women in my life, but was the men. What moved me most was grace, style and silent determination. I wanted all of these to be in me. To have any hope of preparing for the future we have to draw on the experiences of our past. I haven't always been strong, dependable and the ultimate multitasker. Maybe we find our way by weighing up the results of our actions, opportunity and luck.
